Marani Tamarini
The family winery "Tamarini" was founded a few years ago by Tamari and her daughters, after inheriting part of the family vineyards from her father. Born in Kakheti, in the heart of winemaking, Tamari's relationship with wine began in childhood.
A professional winemaker, Tamari was educated first in Tbilisi and then in Germany. She currently heads the wine quality control department at one of the largest wine-producing companies.
Tamar and her daughters decided to produce “author’s wine” and vinify it in a Qvevri, following the traditional Georgian method. Her goal was to produce a small amount of wine, but of the highest quality and rarity.
Tamari's wines, including Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, and Mtsvane, stand out for their exceptional quality. Tamari hopes her wines will be tasted by wine lovers around the world as some of the best examples of Georgian wine aged in a qvevri.
