Winery Ghvenakhe
The family winery Ghvenakhe is located in the village of Busheti, Telavi Municipality (Kakheti). It was founded in 2019 by winemaker Shorena Bochorishvili.
Shorena is one of Georgia’s finest winemakers. She has been tending to her own vineyards for 20 years, only bottling wine when she was certain it came from one of the best vineyard plots.
The Ghvenakhe Winery produces three types of wine:
- Kotsakhura Qvevri (Rkatsiteli, Kakheti Mtsvane and Saperavi Budeshura)
- Saperavi Kasri,
- Specali Qvevri, Dargeba in a Cask (Khikhvi)
